Australia 1972-1973 September 1972 to February 1973, Camp Catering Services, Sydney Threw away a wonderful job with a great deal of autonomy and authority to feed my ego and to take up the position of Financial Controller in CCS's head office in Sydney. Hated Sydney! So I set out to find myself another job in the islands even though the company has offered to give me back my old job on Bougainville but how could I have accepted their offer when I had just given that job to a friend (who, as it turned out, benefitted greatly from the position as the company was subsequently bought out by a large French multi-national, SHRM.) Was lucky enough to get an appointment in the Solomon islands and flew out to Honiara in February 1973.
